Andrew Horwood MSK Podiatrist M.Pod.A, D.Pod.M.
Andrew qualified from the Plymouth School of Podiatry in 1988 and joined the local health authority. Three years later, he joined Nuffield private hospitals to help develop podiatry there, followed by a position of house officer in Podiatric surgery at Rochdale Infirmary in 1995. Just a year later in 1996, Andrew gained his Primary Fellowship with the Podiatry Association. He developed the module Principles of Clinical Podiatric Biomechanics for the groundbreaking MSc at Staffordshire University which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2009.
Andrew is currently an independent musculoskeletal podiatrist working in Leeds. He is also an assistant Editor to the International Journal of Podiatric Biomechanics and was a founding member of the Podiatric Biomechanics Group, a commitment he still makes frequent contributions to.
